Tafariti UniversityApril 28, 2026 (SPS) – On Monday, the Dean of Tafariti University, Brother Moulay Mohamed Ibrahim, a doctoral researcher from the University of Jaume 1 in Castellón, Spain, received Professor Andrés Mauricio.
This academic visit falls within the framework of the bilateral cooperation agreement between the University of Tafariti and the University of Jaume 1 to exchange the visits of researchers and experiences in university work.
The Dean of the University provided the student with detailed explanations about the Sahrawi educational system in general and Tafariti University in particular. He touched on the history of the university, its role, its future plans, and the most important challenges it faces in the abnormal conditions in which it operates.
The research professor expressed his thanks to Tafariti University, which facilitated his visit to the university in order to complete his scientific academic research for his graduation doctoral thesis, which deals with Sahrawi cultural identity and its media role in introducing the Sahrawi people. The Spanish researcher also expressed his desire to benefit from the scientific research center affiliated with Tafariti University and to contribute to the scientific magazine published annually by Tafariti University.
