His arrest occurred due to an Interpol red notice, following a request from a Florida court.
EL TIEMPO investigated and established that it is Anderson Bryan Lever, native of the island of San Andrés, who would have returned to criminal activity after serving a sentence in the North American country and another in Colombia.
What is known about the subject, 49 years old, is that he had his base of operations in Bogotá.

In fact, both times that was captured, the first in 2013 and the most recent, were in the Colombian capital, despite the fact that the shipments left from ports on the island of San Andrés.
EL TIEMPO learned of the indictment of the court of the Middle District of Florida, in which it is stated that he was responsible and coordinator of the shipment of several vessels with shipments of between 500 and 1,000 kilos of cocaine from his hometown to Honduras, in Central America.
