The two’s positive dialogue about Lithuania received a huge response on the Internet.
The future doctor, who has been living in our country for six years, admitted that she really likes to speak Lithuanian with strangers.
“Another day, another stranger and the best conversation in Lithuanian.”
I like it when strangers encourage me to speak Lithuanian,” admitted Sidra, who shared the conversation with the driver.
“Which countries have you been to?” she asked the driver.
He answered that in Kazakhstan, Poland, Turkey.
“And you don’t speak Russian?” the driver asked the passenger.
“No, I don’t speak Russian, I only know Lithuanian and I’m still learning, but it’s a very difficult language,” admitted Sidra.
When asked if she intends to return to Pakistan, she said she wants to live and work here.
“I like Lithuania”, she did not hide it.
The driver also admitted that he likes it here: “I’ve lived here for forty years, it’s like my birthplace.”
