The Academy of Sciences held a scientific-research conference under the title ‘Globalization and its effects on Afghanistan’.

According to the information of Afghanistan Academy of Sciences to Bakhtar Information Agency; At the beginning of the conference, Mufti Amirjan Saqib, Vice President of Natural-Technical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences, said: “Internationalism does not mean that the world does everything, so Muslims should follow it and follow that path, but internationalism will be acceptable within the framework of Islamic principles. Because there are several houses living in a village and they decide on something that is completely harmful to one house, then this work will not be acceptable.”
Later, the message of the Ministry of Information and Culture related to the conference was read, which reads in part: “We believe that if globalization is used to implement the inclusiveness and perfection of Islam and the message of Allah Almighty is conveyed to all humanity and efforts are made to implement it, it will be one of the best opportunities for the salvation of humanity, progress and ensuring justice in the whole world. And to be used as a means of weakening the Islamic and national identity; this has no other result than the destruction of humanity and the destruction of human society and values.”
Similarly, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nuruddin Azizi, said in his speech: “Our Islam is international and every program of Islam is international, and any innovations that come in different areas in the world, we also need them. But we must provide them within the framework of Islamic principles.”
Likewise, the Minister of Economy, Qari Din Muhammad Hanif, said in his speech that the world was built on the basis of a small village and today globalization is like a two-way street for everyone, either they will benefit from economic development or they will face economic weakness.
Mufti Abu Saeed Rashid, Vice President of Islamic Studies of the Academy of Sciences, has also presented his article under the title of the advantages and disadvantages of globalization, which states: “After the collapse of the Ottoman Caliphate, the concept of globalization appeared in the West. Its purpose was to study the development of the Islamic world and Muslims and their rule over the whole world. The idea that existed in Muslims became a model for themselves and how Muslims ruled the world for hundreds of years. Therefore, Islamic values such as jihad, sacrifice, resistance and defense have become the main goals of contemporary conspiracies and intellectual invasions. Under the title of internationalism, an international system has been created that affects the values of the Islamic world.
Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense, Mufti Latifullah Hakimi, said: “Now that globalization has come to Afghanistan, it should be used wisely and modern technology should be used, and we have the strength to use it. We have proved to the world that we understand globalization and we also understand development.”
In the end, the 8th article of the resolution about the conference was read to the participants, in which the good use of internationalism was emphasized.
