Three deputy state secretaries of the Orbán government have resigned, according to Thursday’s Magyar Közlöny.
In view of the resignation of Annamária Pósánné Rácz, the deputy state secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, it was terminated with effect from April 16, 2026, while Besesek Botond and Csákiné dr. The mandate of Krisztina Gyuris, the deputy state secretaries of the Ministry of National Economy, will also end with effect from May 6, 2026, due to their resignation.
THE 24.hu writes that the deputy state secretaries are appointed for an indefinite period by the prime minister, who dismisses them on the recommendation of the line ministers (this time Balázs Hankó and Márton Nagy).
Annamária Pósánné Rácz – whose husband, László Pósán, has been a Fidesz member of parliament since 1998 – was responsible for higher education and adult education from September 15, 2024, while Besesek Botond was responsible for tax regulation and accounting and Krisztina Gyuris Csákiné was responsible for consumer protection and trade in the Ministry of National Economy.
