Solidarity action.
Some 2,900 people benefited from the services of a multidisciplinary medical caravan organized recently in the rural commune of Tamanart, in the province of Tata.
This solidarity action mobilized medical and paramedical staff, as well as medical and pharmacy students, ensuring a varied medical offer for the benefit of the populations.
The governor of Tata province, Mohamed Bari, inquired about the progress of this medical caravan, welcoming the efforts made by the medical and nursing staff as well as all the parties who contributed to the success of this initiative. In a statement to MAP, the provincial delegate of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Tata, Habib Aznak, indicated that this action is part of the national strategy aimed at bringing health services closer to citizens, particularly in remote areas. He added that the organization of such caravans helps improve access to basic and specialized care and improve health indicators at the local level.
For their part, several beneficiaries expressed their satisfaction with this initiative, stressing that it allowed them to access essential medical examinations which were previously difficult for them to access, in particular due to the distance from medical centers. This multidisciplinary medical caravan is, according to its initiators, part of efforts aimed at improving health indicators and promoting equitable access to health services, as well as consolidating the values of solidarity and mutual aid. This solidarity operation was initiated under the supervision of the provincial delegation of health and social protection in Tata, by the Tamanart Association for Development and Solidarity, in partnership with the Medtalk club of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Casablanca, and in cooperation with the rural commune of Tamanart.
