In Dushanbe, companies from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the agricultural sector.
The signed document is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, expanding trade and economic ties and strengthening partnerships between the Rafiq Group company from Uzbekistan and the State Unitary Enterprise Tajagropromexport from Tajikistan.
Particular attention within the framework of the agreement is paid to expanding the export of fruits and vegetables. We are talking, first of all, about the supply of fresh fruits and vegetables from Tajikistan to the Uzbekistan market.
The document provides for the creation of sustainable supply channels, improvement of logistics mechanisms, as well as building a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between the parties.
The signing of the memorandum opens up new prospects for the agricultural sector of both countries. It is expected that the implementation of the agreements reached will increase the volume of mutual trade, support domestic producers and give additional impetus to the development of regional cooperation.
