“At the end of the year, around 95 percent of the buses will be electric. We originally wanted to be completely electric at the time, but the manufacturer thwarted our plans,” explained the capital’s mobility alderman Patrick Goldschmidt (DP) on Tuesday in the “Tramsmusée” at a press conference to mark the 100th anniversary of the “Autobus de la Ville de Luxembourg” (AVL) and 150 years of public transport in the capital.
