From San Marino information (by Antonio Fabbri) – She was accused of stealing from the store Roberto Cavalli toOutlets of Rovereta, goods with a total value of approximately 771 euros.
The woman ended up before the judge yesterday morning, accused of theft… but it wasn’t her.
A case of impersonation, however hatched by the woman’s sister-in-law at the time of the incident.
The facts date back to 2025 when the two women, together with their respective companions, climbed onto the Titan and went to the Outlet to go shopping. However, one of the two had appropriated the goods. However, she was identified by cameras and intercepted by the police. Stopped and interrogated, she was then reported free.
However, the sister-in-law ended up under investigation and then on trial. How come? Because the perpetrator of the theft, when questioned by the officers, declared that she had no documents with her, and gave the police the details of her sister-in-law who therefore ended up in court.
At the first hearing, the woman’s defense with the lawyers Alessandra Greco And Amos Capicchioni asked to acquire the footage from the cameras. From these it was clear that it was not the accused who had stolen the goods, not only because her face was clearly visible, but also because there were tattoos on her arms which the woman falsely accused does not have and furthermore the real perpetrator of the theft was pregnant, unlike the accused who never had children. In yesterday’s hearing everything was clarified and also the fiscal prosecutor’s office, with Giorgia Ugoliniasked for acquittal.
Among other things, it has emerged that the true perpetrator of the theft is now detained in the Benevento prison for other facts.
The judge Adriano Saldarelliat the end of the hearing and taking note of the mistaken identity, acquitted the accused for having committed the crime and returned the documents to the preliminary investigation so that proceedings can be taken against the former sister-in-law.
