Qalibaf: Strait of Hormuz will be managed by Iran; It is the chapter of speech, words and orders of leadership

Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf, the head of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced in an interview on the flight back from the Swiss quadrilateral negotiations that a telephone communication line would be established to solve the problems of the Strait of Hormuz and said: This strait will be managed by Iran in compliance with these laws and with Iranian arrangements.

Referring to the release of Iran’s blocked assets, the head of Iran’s negotiating team stated: According to Clause 11, two amounts of 6 billion dollars should have been released, which had already been done during the trip to Qatar, but the final signing should have taken place during the trip to Switzerland, which was done.

Qalibaf emphasized: Regarding paragraph 10, the issue of selling crude oil, petrochemicals and its derivatives, as well as banking, insurance and transportation issues are discussed. Since the agreement has not yet been finalized, the sanctions are still in place; Therefore, according to the signed agreement, oil embargoes were lifted until the final agreement was reached.

He called another important issue the framework of how to follow up the realization of the clauses of the understanding until the end of 60 days and said: This matter has also been concluded and coordination has been made so that the Iranian and American delegations have a meeting and follow up on these issues and their implementation.

Qalibaf emphasized: The Zionist regime strongly opposes the negotiation process; Because he sees his own destruction in this way and wants to disrupt the negotiation process.

Regarding the reason for the withdrawal of the Iranian delegation from the negotiations after Trump’s threats, he stated: We have principles and we have never, until this moment, wanted to be in the same frame with the Americans. The friends of the mediator in this discussion insisted that this is the beginning of talks, but we clearly stated that we will not appear in this frame and we will only come to negotiate, without being in the same frame.

Ghalibaf noted: We are all under the orders of the leader and we must prevent any marginalization. We have a common enemy and we must have unity around the axis of the province. Not unity on things we like. unity is the command of leadership; Whether in war, in peace, in negotiation or in the cultural field. We must know that the chapter of speech is the word and order of leadership.
