A man was found dead at Vakamasuasua in Labasa last night.
Police said a report was received of a male lying motionless at the location.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the man had died at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
Police said the cause of death would be determined after a post-mortem examination is conducted.
Investigations are continuing.
