The head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha held a conference with journalists from the blue headquarters at noon this Friday. He appreciated the mass protest of citizens who demand the removal of Edi Rama and his government, and called on the democrats to participate in this powerful hurricane.
Berisha also criticized Rama’s attitudes, his taunts and labeling of protesters, calling on him to resign.
The chief democrat also said that Rama does a shameful act regarding what he calls his anti rally, this afternoon with the SP’s 35th anniversary party in Tirana.
Berisha: The protest has turned into a powerful hurricane against the authoritarian dictatorship of Edi Rama’s regime based on election farce, drug crime and theft of Albanians. Tirana has not known in its history such a powerful massive and persistent protest as this one. My call to every democrat who supports the DP, join the protest of the youth and citizens of Tirana, a protest that exceeds the limits of political forces. But who demands, resolutely, the end of the autocratic regime of Edi Rama. The annulment of a series of laws for which the DP deputies in the parliament have voted against in the Commissions and the plenary session. They opposed these unconstitutional laws that contradict the European Commission. Every democrat but also every citizen of Tirana and the whole of Albania has the strongest motives to support this protest that has reached world-unprecedented proportions through the size of the hurricane in the streets and squares of Tirana. It has become news and super news of all the biggest television and media agencies in the world.
I am here to denounce with the greatest force the irresponsible, cynical and hostile attitude of Edi Rama and his circle towards the protest, the demands of the protesters, and I warn that with this attitude he seeks to plunge the country into chaos. It is inexcusable, unacceptable his attempt to diffuse the powerful hurricane with anachronistic anti rallies. They are supposedly celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Crime Party. It is cynical, humiliating and insulting that you oppose the citizen protest and the Albanian youth with the meeting of the SP’s crime scumbags, which resemble from Alpha to Omega the meetings of the mafia. Edi Rama must urgently give up anti-rallies. Not to challenge the powerful peaceful hurricane of student youth with anti-meetings of mafias, bandits, delinquents. Compulsorily collected. I call on socialists to abandon Edi Rama’s anti-rallies wherever they are. They have nothing to do with SP’s ideals, that party does not exist, it is dead. Once again I strongly condemn, I call on the international public opinion to strongly support this protest which has defined as its mission the rescue of Albania from the authoritarian dictatorship, the narco regime of Edi Rama.
I condemn Edi Rama’s low provocations towards the protesters. Epithets obsessions his hallucinations. Once he presents agents of foreign powers. Next time influencers are to blame. He describes them as if they are not. I tell him to shut up. An influencer is a personality in the digital universe. Shameful you use epithets. It was the flamingo print on his T-shirt. I remember some verses of Fishta, which people like him call belly pigs. And I ask that you have no moral rights, the murderer of the Flemish with the airport you built. Print Lubin on your T-shirt, Gys Agasi. Born. Not flamingos, flamingos are a symbol of the high environmental consciousness that Albanian youth has achieved. Flamengo are being protected by young Albanians. You wore the blouse with Lubina. Yes, yes. Also see the two Lindas. Don’t forget Gysi and Armand Frangut. Leave the provocations. Make the political choice. You are hopeless.
