Plenary sessions have started in the Parliament of Albania. Citizens’ protest against Rama has also started outside the Assembly. As warned, the citizens organized themselves in front of the Assembly just before the start of the session, which was announced at 10:00.
“With the calls “Parliament of crime”, “Edi Rama resigns”, “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison”, they continued the protest.
Meanwhile, it continues with the approval of the minutes of the plenary meeting of June 18, 2026 and with the procedural announcements.
In the following, the deputies will examine and vote on eight draft resolutions for the evaluation of the activity of independent institutions and public administration for the year 2025.
Among them are the reports of the Commissioner for the Supervision of the Civil Service, the Commissioner for the Right to Information and the Protection of Personal Data, the Department of Public Administration, the Competition Authority, the Public Procurement Commission, the Authority for Information on Former State Security Documents, the Institute for Studies on Crimes and Consequences of Communism, as well as the Deposit Insurance Agency.
The session will conclude with discussions on non-agenda items.
