Shaheed El Hafed, 11 April 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali, presided over an expanded meeting of the General Staff of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army.
The meeting was dedicated to congratulating members of the army on the major success achieved during the military parades marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
The President praised the high level of organization and discipline that characterized these parades, considering them a landmark event that reflected the readiness of the armed forces and their ability to carry out their missions with high efficiency. He also extended appreciation and pride to all fighters and personnel who contributed to the success of this important national event.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President stressed the need to continue working with the same spirit of responsibility, emphasizing the central role of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army in protecting national gains and defending the dignity of the Sahrawi people, until the achievement of their legitimate goals of freedom and independence.
