The Police from Montevideo is working to clarify two homicides that occurred in the last few hours in two neighborhoods of Montevideoas reported by the Department Headquarters in a statement.

Initially, the officers managed to transport the victim, still alive, to a nearby medical center, but he died moments later.

The second murder of the day occurred in the area of New Parisat the intersection of Llupes and Córdoba streets, with a 24 year old man as victim.
According to the official report, the victim was traveling through the area on a motorcycle with a woman when, at a certain moment, They began to be chased by two men who were also traveling on a motorcycle..
After a chase that lasted a few minutes, the deceased ended up losing control of the vehicle and fell to the pavement on Córdoba and Julián Laguna streets.
At this moment, the Police reported, the pursuers fired several shots at the man, who tried to flee on foot without success, falling wounded in the access to a house located on José Llupes, where he was found dead.
At the scene of the incident, the Police seized multiple 9 millimeter caliber bullet pods and the victim’s motorcycle that was left in place.
