The United States Federal Police have arrested five men who planned to attack a UFC fight tournament that took place in the backyard of the White House, the residence of the president, on Sunday.
According to a news report BBC the men planned to attack nearby buildings with bomb-laden drones, as well as “firing at important targets.”
The attack suffocated in childbirth
“The alleged attack plans were nipped in the bud,” FBI Director Kash Patel said in a social media post today.
Tycen Proper, Bryan Roa, Michael Thomas, Daniel Eskridge and Abraham Alvarez were arrested in connection with the case.
The aim of the attackers was to create chaos in the battle with the bomb drones. Then they were going to open fire on the guests who fled the scene. Meanwhile, other attackers would run through the gates of the White House.
The men’s plans came to light after the mother of 19-year-old Tycen Proper reported him to the police for carrying weapons and strange behavior. An internet chat was then discovered where lines were laid before the attack.
