Outsourcing industry strengthens future leadership pipeline

Fiji’s outsourcing industry has strengthened its future leadership pipeline as 44 participants graduated with the leadership training program on Monday.

The graduation ceremony celebrated the achievements of participants who successfully completed the Leading for Impact Program, focused on leadership development, communication, self-awareness, strategic thinking, and building the capabilities required to drive positive outcomes within organisations and teams.

The program was delivered through a partnership between Outsource Fiji and Thrive4Women to equip professionals with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to lead in an increasingly competitive global business environment.

During the graduation, Outsource Fiji board member Neha Kumar said the program was designed to not only develop managers but to cultivate leaders who could think strategically, communicate effectively, build trust, navigate change, and bring out the best in those around them.

“Leadership is not something that develops overnight. It requires continuous learning, reflection, and the courage to step outside familiar territory,” Ms Kumar said.

Thrive4Women founder and facilitator Jane Counsel said what participants had been part of was far more than a training program.

She said it had been a shared commitment to develop leadership with greater intention, awareness, and impact.

“The program brought together diverse people, perspectives, and experiences from Fiji and Australia, created an environment where participants could learn from one another, support one another, and grow together,” Ms Counsel said.

” Leadership does not happen in isolation. It is shaped through meaningful connections, constructive conversations, and a willingness to learn from those around us.”

RCL Services Pte Limited head of Human Resources Arunesh Prasad who was among those that graduated said the program provided valuable insights that would strengthen his leadership approach and support his professional growth.
