The most successful Celjani, the unsportsmanlike move of the young Styrian woman resonates

The judo players of the Z’dežele Sankaku club were the most successful at the members’ national championship, which was held on Saturday in Duplek. They won a total of seven medals, three of which were gold, with which they crowned themselves Nika Tomc (up to 57 kg), Zarja Mastnak (up to 63 kg) and Urgh Snack (up to 73 kg).

Members of the Celje club climbed to the second step of the podium Leila Mazouzi (up to 70 kg), Neža Hladnik (up to 78 kg) and Peter Uranjek (over 100 kg), and he won the bronze medal Stefan Josipović (up to 81 kg).

Bežigrad and Slovenj Gradec also received three golden laurels

Only one less medal was collected by the people of Bežigraj, who deservedly won Nike Koren (up to 70 kg), Kaje Schuster (up to 78 kg) and Gašper Kokalj (up to 66 kg) also celebrated three national championship titles. They lost the final matches against the people of Ljubljana Maša Slavinec (up to 57 kg) and Goran Kelava (up to 81 kg), and she was third Paulina Selan (up to 63 kg).

The fighters of Slovenj Gradac also received three golden laurels. In the absence of a representative Nacet Herkovič (up to 81 kg), who proved himself last weekend with the third place at the World Cup tournament in Tallinn, they swung to the podium Nuša Male (up to 52 kg), Alex Krivec (up to 81 kg) and Aljaž Gostenčnik (up to 90 kg). The fourth medal for the Carinthians was provided by a bronze medal Lara Jamer (up to 70 kg).

In Impol, they were looking forward to the two most valuable medals they won David Starkel (up to 60 kg) and Timothy Kos (up to 100 kg), ob Kristina Vršič (Duplek, up to 48 kg), who returned to the mats after a break of several years with a victory, and the two national champions Tara Janjic (Ivo Rey, over 78 kg) and Blaž Vrankar (GIB Šiška, over 100 kg).

She kicked her with her knee in the final

The unsportsmanlike move of the 19-year-old also resonated quite a bit in judo circles Neže Mesiček from the club Apolon Maribor, who obviously could not bear the fact that she was losing the final match in the category up to 63 kilograms against Zarja Mastnak, who was three years younger. When she was on the ground and the referee had already stopped the action, she kicked her hard in the ribs with her knee, for which she earned a disqualification after watching the videos later. Thus, Mesičkova was also left without a silver medal.

In the Slovenian parade category, in which they were crowned with golden laurels at the Olympic Games Urška Žolnir (Jugovar), Tina Trstenjak and Andreja Leškathe new member national champion was the barely 16-year-old Mastnakova from the Z’dežele Sankaku club.
