On the eve of the decision for the former leaders of the KLA, the police presence in The Hague is increased

The Special Court in The Hague is on heightened alert in the hours before the verdict is announced against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.
The editor-in-chief of T7, Arsim Lani, who is in The Hague and is closely following the development of events, has brought images from the field, where the presence and increased mobilization of police forces can be seen near the headquarters of the Special Court, where the decision is expected to be announced today.
The announcement of the verdict is scheduled for today at 10:00, in a public session.
The trial of Thaçi, Vesel, Selim and Krasniqi began in April 2023 and ended with closing statements in February 2026. The four former leaders face charges of crimes against humanity and alleged war crimes during 1998–1999. They have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
