The appeal of GJKKO rejected today the request of the president of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, for release from the cell. He asked for the replacement of ‘prison arrest’ in ‘house arrest’, setting a 50,000 euro property guarantee.
But this request was rejected by the court.

Kujtim Cakrani, to disposition no. 242, dated 24.03.2026 of the First Instance Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime. – This decision should be notified to the parties. – This decision can be appealed to the Supreme Court.
