Namely, in Podgorica, the annex to the Memorandum on Cooperation between the EC and the Party of European Progress, the Bosniak Democratic Movement and the Movement for Grief was just signed.
As it was announced, this formalized their accession to that supra-party entity, of which the Social Democrats, the Social Democratic Party and the Liberal Party have been part since 2024.
Today’s signing of the Memorandum, as emphasized, establishes a framework for joint and coordinated political action of six political entities within the European Union.

The agreement was signed by the leaders of the existing and new constituents of the European Union – Damir Šehović (SD), Ivan Vujović (SDP), Vatroslav Belan (LP), Duško Marković (SEP), Bejto Šahmanović (BDP) and Husein Đoković (PZT).
Leaders of parties and movements that are part of the European Union addressed the gathering, with Damir Šehović pointing out that the expansion of that political alliance is yet to come.
Ivan Vujović emphasized that every party and movement that joins the EC and within that bloc preserves its uniqueness and that decisions are made jointly.
In front of SEP, Ilija Mugoša pointed out that this is a new alliance in the interest of Montenegro, while Vatroslav Belan said that with each new member of the EC, it is getting bigger, which is in the interest of civil and European Montenegro.

Bejto Šahmanović emphasized that they are entering the bloc as equal partners, bringing an honest idea into it.
Husein Đoković said that as a local movement they want to act in a positive direction at the national level, and that for this reason they joined the European Union.
