In his defense, Nenecho again try to separate responsibilities alleging that the initial issuance of said funds and the plan to renovate places actually corresponded to the previous mayor, Mario Ferreiro. However, official records prove that Rodríguez himself signed the approval resolution as president of the Municipal Board and then signed the final issue upon assuming the executive position.

Pressured by the outcome of the intervention, Nenecho resigned from his position in August past, giving way to Luis Bello (ANR-chartist), who as councilor had endorsed his management and that, as mayor, continues until now his same stepspostponing the quality of services promised with taxpayers’ money and the payment of millionaire debts contracted by bonds for works that, in the end, were not executed.
