Through this platform, the operator aims to detect, support and promote emerging talents throughout the Kingdom. Orange Music Talents, Orange Koora Talents and Orange eSport Talents will thus be deployed within a common logic, with the support of recognized ambassadors, notably Asmaa Lemnawar for music, Brahim Diaz and Mehdi Amri for football, as well as XcharifX for gaming.
For Noël Chateau, Consumer Director of Orange Morocco, the objective is to give young people a real opportunity for visibility. “We know that there are many talented young people throughout Morocco. Orange’s mission is to detect them, support them and develop them so that they can be known to the general public,” he underlined.
A tour to meet talents
At the heart of the system is the Orange Talents Fest, a festival which will travel to several cities in the Kingdom during the summer, notably Agadir, Essaouira, Nador and Tangier, before a grand final planned in Casablanca at the end of August. Each stage will offer freestyle football competitions, gaming tournaments, concerts and events open to the public.
Ibtissam Khazraji, brand and commercial communications director of Orange Maroc, indicated that this tour aims to “bring joy and passion around football, gaming and music to several cities in Morocco”, with a final intended to reveal the winners of each discipline.
The musical component will allow ten selected young artists to benefit from comprehensive support, including artistic residency, production of titles and media visibility. On the gaming side, the winner will be able to join Team xProjekt, while the winner of freestyle football will benefit from support alongside Mehdi Amri.
With Orange Talents, the operator confirms its ambition to create a national ecosystem serving the passions of Moroccan youth, by transforming talent detection into a real springboard towards professionalization.
