The mother of one of the two Layou men who were gunned down in Stoney Ground on Friday is among two people charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the killing in Buccament Bay last weekend.
Rosia John, mother of murder victim Enrique John aka Shoubu, is slated to appear before the Serious Offences Court on Friday.
She will be read charge of murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the shooting death of Perrance Matthews, 19, of Layou.
John is charged alongside Augustas Matthews, 19, also of Layou.
She is also charged with possession of and trafficking in cocaine.

With the charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder, John is unlikely to arrange or attend the funeral of her only child as bail is not open to murder accused in St. Vincent and the Grenadines until after nine months.
The woman is making headlines in connection with an alleged crime nine years after police had to restrain her outside the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court, where she urged him to hide his face as he was led away after his arraignment on a charge that he had raped a girl who was older than 13 but younger than 15.
The mother was frequently present in court during her son’s appearance on various charges, including those that were yet to be disposed of up to the time of his death.
Enrique John, 29, died inside a shop at the Russells Shopping Centre and 22-year-old Raheem Guy, John’s close associate, was shot and killed on the sidewalk outside the Caribbean Medical Imaging Centre on Friday during a shooting rampage that lasted more than two minutes.
Then, on Saturday, news broke that Matthews’ body was found along the river defence in Buccament Bay, with gunshots to the head and chest.
The killings in Stoney Ground and Buccament Bay are said to be linked to the ongoing gang warfare in the country, in which factions in Central Kingstown have joined with their associates in Layou against a gang in West Kingstown.
Matthews, whose alias is “Suspect”, is said to have been associated with one of the group, left it, and then was trying to rejoin it.
At the time of his death, John was awaiting the outcome of two attempted murder charges.
