A 42-year-old man was robbed of two gold chains valued at an estimated $70,000 by bandits at the front door of his Morvant home early on Monday morning.
Police said the man and his common-law wife were about to enter their apartment at Almond Court around 3.30 am when they were confronted by two bandits, one of whom was armed with a gun.
One of the bandits stole the man’s gold chains, cellphone and car keys before fleeing.
Officers of the Morvant CID and the Police Cyber Crime Unit are continuing enquiries.
