The Commission for the Integration of Graduates (CID) is strengthening its support for young job-seekers in Monaco with the launch of a new CID Alumni network, designed to forge concrete links between past beneficiaries of the scheme and the next generation entering the job market.
The initiative was announced as part of the commission’s plans for the 2025-2026 period, presented during a press conference held last September in the presence of Héloïse Boin, the CID’s project manager, and Christophe Robino, Minister of Health and Social Affairs. The new network is intended to connect more than 2,480 graduates supported by the commission since it was founded in 2010, fostering mentoring relationships between established professionals and newcomers to the job market.
Boin explained the thinking behind the project, noting the value of encouraging connections between former graduates — herself once among them — and young people arriving on a job market without an established network.
The announcement followed a strong year for the commission. Of the 183 young people assisted in 2024, 75 were Monégasque nationals, and 98 were successfully placed in employment, split between 75 private sector roles and 23 in the public service. The CID also supported 24 expatriate Monégasques and their partners in returning to work in the Principality.
The organisation also expanded its outreach last year, hosting more than 51 events designed to engage young job-seekers, including a new youth space at the Employment Forum that provided 210 graduates with individual interviews, as well as informal career discussions held as walking meetings during the No Finish Line charity event.
