KUWAIT: Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lt Gen Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib inspected a number of husseiniyas across various areas of the country to review security and organizational preparations. The interior ministry said in a statement that the tour was carried out under directives from First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to strengthen security measures during the month of Muharram.
Al-Wuhaib reviewed the deployment of security personnel and arrangements for managing crowds and organizing visitors in a safe and orderly manner. He praised the readiness and field deployment of security forces securing the husseiniyas and commended coordination among participating agencies to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of events.
Al-Wuhaib urged husseiniya officials to cooperate with security personnel and facilitate their duties, stressing that the presence of security forces is aimed at protecting lives and property. He also encouraged organizers to contact security authorities whenever assistance is needed, affirming that the ministry will continue intensifying its field presence throughout Muharram. — KUNA
