The following were elected as Deputy Speakers of the 52nd National Assembly:
– Prof. Ivan Angelov from “Progressive Bulgaria”;
– Raya Nazaryan from GERB-SDS;
– Dr. Ayten Sabri from DPS;
– Atanas Atanasov from “Democratic Bulgaria”;
– Stoyu Stoev from “We continue the change”;
– Tsoncho Ganev from “Vazrazhdane”.
The next meeting of the National Assembly will be on May 7.
Who is Michaela Dotsova?
In the public sphere, Dr. Mihaela Dotsova is recognizable as a defender of administrative reform, the rule of law and the development of local self-government.
Mihaela Dotsova’s career is closely related to legal consulting and state administration. Her professional path goes through the state administration and legislative power. He has experience in working with institutions, since 2017 he has held positions related to the preparation and control of legislative acts.
Her professional interests include administrative law, public procurement, competition law and environmental law. She is a senior associate practicing in general counsel and corporate law.
The 42-year-old Dotsova is a doctor of law at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in the department of “Administrative and Legal Sciences”. He holds a Diploma in European Union Law from the Institute of Continuing Studies at the University of Cambridge (2008).
She is the 19th titular Speaker of the National Assembly (not counting temporary incumbents) or the 21st elected to the post (Tsetska Tsacheva and Raya Nazaryan held the post twice in different periods) for the last 37 years.
