The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) issued a weather warning announcing the rapid movement of a storm system that will first hit the south of the country tonight and reach Asunción in the early hours of Friday. The accumulated water would reach 70 mm and on Saturday it will dawn with 7°C.
The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) issued a notice at 7:55 p.m. and announced the entry of a thunderstorm system that advances rapidly over the national territory.
The weather phenomenon will cause heavy rains, electric shocksthe occasional hail fall and gusts of wind that could reach 90km/hfollowed by a marked drop in temperature.

Storm cores have already begun to appear in the southwest of the Eastern region. Severe weather is expected to develop occasionally throughout the remainder of tonight.
This is how the storm system will behave
The special bulletin issued by the institution details that the system is characterized by its speed of movement. The front will enter two geographic blocks simultaneously before midnight.
In the Eastern region, affects directly to the department of Ñeembucúthe west of Missions and the southwest of umbrella.
While in the Western regionthe storm will enter through the department of President Hayes and the southern sector of Anchovy.
According to technical projections, the mass of storms will advance strongly towards the center of the country during the early hours of this Friday and will reach Asunción and the Central department.
Accumulated water accumulations are expected to range between 20 and 70 millimeters.
Improvement on Friday and thermal collapse on the weekend
The DMH meteorologist on duty, Celia Sanguinettiexplained that it is expected that for the Friday afternoon and evening the risk of thunderstorms decreases, and will give way to a mostly cloudy sky.
