A hidden wine bar along Chino Roces reopens with retail-priced bottles and a menu built for pairing
The Bevvy, a wine bar tucked inside a warehouse complex along Chino Roces Avenue, has reopened following a brief renovation, introducing a refreshed space while keeping its low-key, wine-first approach intact.
Since opening, the venue has built a steady following among wine enthusiasts and industry regulars, drawn by its extensive selection and relaxed approach to drinking. Rather than a traditional bar setting, The Bevvy has positioned itself as a place for discovery, where guests browse shelves and choose bottles in a setting that feels closer to a private cellar than a restaurant.
The update focuses on atmosphere. Interiors have been reworked to feel warmer and more intimate, with a more immersive wine display and the addition of a small al fresco area designed for slower, more casual gatherings.

Central to The Bevvy’s concept is its pricing model. Wines are offered at retail prices rather than standard restaurant markups, a setup that encourages guests to explore labels more freely and approach wine with less formality.
The menu complements that approach. Dishes draw from a mix of Filipino comfort food, Japanese bar fare, and European wine bar staples, designed to pair naturally with a range of bottles while remaining accessible.
The space also caters to small private gatherings, with options for exclusive use through minimum consumable packages, making it suitable for intimate celebrations and corporate events.

New additions include Pilsner Urquell served on draft and plans for future programming under what the team describes as “The Bevvy University,” a series of tastings and learning sessions aimed at making wine more approachable.
Despite the updates, the bar maintains its original philosophy: creating a space where wine can be enjoyed without the usual barriers.
