The concept is called ‘Arctic Sauna’ and started in earnest this month. And it is relatively simple.
If you want a trip to an outdoor sauna and a cold dip in the sea or in an ice bath, you can book the sauna online for an hour and a half at a time on the sauna’s Facebook page.
You can book it alone or take up to seven friends with you.
– I’m also trying to get some sauna gas up and running. I am in the process of finding sauna gas masters, so it will come, promises 20-year-old Malik Pedersen.
The young man behind Arctic Sauna is currently waiting for him to become a student from the sports department at GUX in Nuuk.
And then he himself loves going to the sauna.
– I have done it myself a lot, and have had good experiences with my friends, he says.
Such experiences he hopes he can give to his customers.
– People have received the sauna very well so far, and I hope it continues like this, he says.
