The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, has reacted to that of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Arbërie Nagavci, who said that her party remains waiting for concrete proposals from the LDK and the PDK regarding the issue of the president.
Lushaku-Sadriu said that her party’s proposal is already known, as she asked the ruling party to show if it is ready to offer 66 votes for that proposal.
“Did you want names? You have the name. Tell him you have 66 votes!”, Lushaku-Sadriu wrote briefly.
During Sunday evening, Nagavci wrote on Facebook that the Vetëvendosje Movement has taken a step forward in an effort to overcome the deadlock in the election of the president.
Nagavci said that they have not officially accepted any concrete proposal from the opposition for president.
Yesterday, the chairman of LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Albin Kurti on Facebook, also mentioned the possibility of proposing former president Vjosa Osmani for the post of president, as long as 66 votes are guaranteed from Vetëvendosja.
