The Minister of the Presidency and president-elect, Laura Fernandezthanked the outgoing faction of the National Liberation Party (PLN) for the approval of the $770 million loan with CABEI for the expansion of the highway to San Ramón.
Fernández arrived this Monday, at 12:19 pm to meet with the liberationist legislators.

In her first statements in front of the green and white, the minister thanked the approval of the file in her two debates.
“I take this opportunity to thank you for the approval of the credit for the expansion of Route 1. Tomorrow it will be signed in San Ramón. It is a very important project for the western region. It cost a lot of work time, intense hours in the Treasury Commission and also in the plenary session,” said the leader.
The minister thanked the “commitment fulfilled,” but also assured that in the next nine days remaining in the Legislative Assembly, progress could be made on projects that have a lot of consensus.
Fernández acknowledged in front of the PLN that the congressmen “have been with their foot on the accelerator in several projects.”
The Minister of Communication, Arnold Zamora, and the Vice Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Alejandro Barrantes, attended the meeting with the minister.
In the case of the PLN, only 11 of the 18 congressmen arrived. Present are the head of the liberationist faction, Óscar Izquierdo; the deputy chief, Alejandra Larios, as well as the president of the Legislative Assembly, Rodrigo Arias.
Monserrat Ruiz, José Joaquín Hernández, Katherine Moreira, Geison Valverde, Andrea Álvarez, Pedro Rojas, Paulina Ramírez and Dinorah Barquero.
Those absent are Francisco Nicolás, Kattia Rivera, Luis Fernando Mendoza, Rosaura Méndez and Danny Vargas.
Carolina Delgado and Sonia Rojas do not attend the meeting, because they are temporarily banned from the liberationist faction’s appointments.
