There is you and uswhether we like it or not, i.e. whether you are Greenlandic-minded or Danish-minded, when the bad sides of the commonwealth go like the waves at Cape Farewell when they are at their worst.
We have all experienced that, most recently with the spiral case, and not least when the reports came out. And if you don’t remember it, we also experienced it when the documentary about “Greenland’s white gold” was broadcast in DR and afterwards was stamped: Forbidden! (The invisible poison).

And so we can go on and fuel the intransigence.
And the swells after that, leaving us with feelings, words and accusations that linger in your little head for a long time. Yes, the emotional betrayal is also the invisible poison many of us have lived with in growing up, adulthood and old age. It makes some people cynical and harsh in their way of communicating with the outside world. It’s poison. An invisible poison.
Like a virus
My experience is that even people who academically shouldn’t tap into their psychological defense mechanism at its best constantly overstep the mark – on both fronts. But that’s how it is with people who have chosen sides in the damned psychological war. They seem to have been hit by a virus and have probably lost the feeling of being able to think about themselves or are simply able to make the effort.
There are some days when it is best to rest the mind for the treachery that expressly creeps in when the loud discussions become unyielding and the arguments become too depraved, intransigent and stereotypical. And if you don’t know what a rant means, your new electronic and clever friend Chatten, who knows everything, explains that the meaning of the word is that a person or group gradually becomes more cynical, harsh, crude or brutal in thought, speech and action towards them. In other words, that condition is incredibly difficult to live with and must be broken down, reconciled and receive a round of healing treatment.
You start
Without trivializing the problem, it is perhaps a good idea to ask yourself whether it is not time to give the Commonwealth a different tone. In other words, letting go of inherited bad attitudes about each other without denying the facts. As many of us wish, it is time to fill everyday life with something different. We need to protect our society and rediscover the joy in everyday life and revive our lovely culture.
So it is that the lifestyle writer on Facebook, whom I often read, writes:
– Life moves all the time, and it is meant to.
And completely reassuringly she continues – (I think the writer is female for inscrutable reasons):
– And when this particular card is on the field, it is with the message that good changes are on the way – so just let life pulsate, change and move as it will.
I should say hello and say that betrayal is not an individual problem. Apparently it’s a structured issue. So if you don’t know, I think that the ashes from the burnout in the eternal psychological war between us is often a betrayal.
So let go. You deserve a better life!
