Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) — Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on Tuesday visited the lodging quarters of Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People’s Republic of China, and deepened friendship with him.
The top leaders of the two countries and their wives exchanged warm greetings and took an electric car. They had a chat full of friendship and fraternity on the electric car running the garden covered with green foliage at the Kumsusan State Guesthouse.
Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Xi Jinping expressed satisfaction and deep emotion over the fact that they provided a far-reaching blueprint for the development of the relations in the new era through the Pyongyang meeting and talks in the significant year which will be recorded in the history of the DPRK-China friendship and solidarity. They expressed their impressions on the future of the DPRK-China friendship that will get brighter and stronger like the season full of vigor and vitality, despite the ordeals of complicated international situation.
Comrade Kim Jong Un and his wife Ri Sol Ju hosted a luncheon for Comrade Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.
The top leaders of the two parties and countries continued the friendly talk at the luncheon.
