    Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) — Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People’s Republic of China, on a state visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, visited the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers’ Party of Korea on Tuesday.

    Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, accompanied him to the school.

    Among the Chinese visitors were Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, member of the Secretariat and director of the General Office of the C.C., CPC, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the C.C., CPC and minister of Foreign Affairs, and other entourage members and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.

    Present there were secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, including Kim Jae Ryong and Ri Il Hwan, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the C.C., WPK.

    Being honored to have the great leaders of the two parties on its campus soon after it marked its 80th founding anniversary, the school, the supreme political one of the DPRK, was filled with a warm atmosphere for welcoming them at a historic time when communication, concerted action and close cooperation between the two ruling parties of the two countries constantly advancing under the banner of socialism have been placed on a new strategic level.

    Comrade Kim Jong Un greeted Comrade Xi Jinping at the school.

    A teacher presented a bouquet to Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, in welcome of his visit to the school.

    Comrade Xi Jinping went round the school, guided by Comrade Kim Jong Un.

    Comrade Kim Jong Un briefed Comrade Xi Jinping on the history of the school which has contributed to the cause of building the working-class party by performing its sacred mission and role to guarantee the lifeline and future of the Party for a long period of the Korean revolution.

    Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Xi Jinping inspected a lecture on the Party policy at the hall no. 3.

    Comrade Xi Jinping appreciated that the school was wonderfully built as befits the pedigree establishment for training the backbone, guarantors of the permanent future of the socialist ruling party, and it has concentrated its efforts on arming itself with theories and spirit and improving its qualifications for training Party cadres while deeply imbuing the students with the innovative ideas and theories of the WPK.

    The students expressed gratitude to the top leaders of the two parties with loud applause for their visit to the school on the occasion of great importance in the history of the development of the DPRK-China relations in the new era, which would remain in the memory forever.

    The top leaders of the two parties took an electric car to go round the campus of the school while exchanging open-hearted views on the system of training future party cadres and educational system and contents peculiar to the party school.

    They expressed their willingness to exert common efforts to make the party cadres training schools play a proper role in strengthening the parties together while exchanging in depth the excellent party-building experience and earnestly learning from each other by further boosting exchange and cooperation between the two parties of the DPRK and China.

    Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Xi Jinping planted a tree together in commemoration of their visit to the school.

    A fir tree took root in the sacred land, conveying the noble intention of the top leaders of the two parties to open up a new chapter of firm comradely friendship, revolutionary unity and sincere support and cooperation between the two parties and peoples of the two countries and cultivate a more beautiful and rosier future.

    A monument to the meaningful tree-planting was unveiled.

    When Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, member of the Secretariat and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, unveiled the monument together, leading officials and entourages of both sides and teaching staff and students of the school warmly clapped, looking up to the top leaders who are glorifying the new era of the development of the friendly relations between the two parties and two countries.

    Inscribed in the monument were the letters in Korean and Chinese reading “DPRK-China friendship will be evergreen. Tree planted by Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Xi Jinping on June 9, 2026″.
