The premiere of the first full-length cartoon created with AI (artificial intelligence) “Little Mher” in the region took place at the “Moscow” cinema. It refers to the main character of the Little Mher branch of our “Sasna Tsrer” epic, Little Mher. According to the director-director of the cartoon Hovhannes Margaryan, the choice of the “Pokr Mher” branch is due to the mysteriousness of the hero of the epic and his unfinished story. According to the director, the team used artificial intelligence only when generating images.

According to the director, the use of artificial intelligence enables the production process to be carried out several times faster than in the case of classical production methods. A huge team, more than fifty individuals, including voice actors Khoren Levonyan, Sos Janibekyan, Levon Harutyunyan, Davit Hakobyan, Rafael Yeranosyan, Arev Gevorgyan, Arus Tigranyan and others, who brought the characters to life, participated in the creation of the cartoon.

Actor Levon Harutyunyan was excited when he received the invitation to participate, because reference was made to the epic, which, according to the actor, was pushed to the background. He hopes that this project will become an opportunity for the new generation to read our epic. Harutyunyan noticed similarities with the character he voiced. This was the actor’s first attempt to enter the cartoon world. According to the actor, it is very important to present our history, our species to the world through the epic.

Actor Rafael Yeranosyan also noticed many similarities between himself and the character he voiced. Actress Arus Tigranyan is very excited about the fact that her daughter will watch a quality Armenian cartoon, one of whose characters was voiced by her mother.

According to actress Arev Gevorgyan, this proves that artificial intelligence can serve to create good, to present the classic in a new language. Costume expert Vahe Kotanyan was involved in the team for cultural and ethnographic accuracy. He sketched the character of Little Mher, from the clothes to the polyandry, around which the story develops.

While working with artificial intelligence, the team had one difficulty. it generates the image more easily when communicating with it in English or Russian.

The screenwriters of the cartoon are Hovhannes Margaryan, Khoren Tevanyan and Artush Gevorgyan, the main producers are Hovhannes and Hrant Margaryan, the producer is Hayk Simonyan. The authors of the conspiracy are Hovhannes Margaryan and Ashot Abrahamyan.

The goal of the animation project is to give new life to the Armenian epic and present it to the new generation in a modern way. “Little Mher” is planned to be presented to an international audience as well, by translating it into different languages ​​and making it available on international platforms.
