The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran issued a statement about the repeated violation of the understanding of the end of the war by the United States in the morning of 7th of Cancer 1405.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that it strongly condemns the US air strikes on several monitoring and surveillance facilities on the southern coast of this country. The statement of the ministry stated that these attacks were carried out on Sunday morning, 7 Cancer 1405.
According to this statement, Tehran considers this action to be a violation of paragraph 4 of article 2 of the United Nations Charter, as well as a violation of the first paragraph of the memorandum of understanding on the end of the war dated 28 Joza 1405. Iranian officials have also accused the United States of disregarding international obligations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has asked the Security Council and the Secretary General of the United Nations to address this issue within the framework of their responsibilities for maintaining international peace and security. This ministry has also emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, reserves the right to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
