Due to the derailment of a freight train, train traffic on the Nis railway was interrupted, and although more than 24 hours have passed since then, trains are still not running between Nis and Belgrade, reports Juzne vesti today.
According to “Srbijavoz”, on Wednesday at 5:10 a.m. between the Stevanac and Braljina stations, near Stalac, a freight train derailed.
Because of this, all trains were canceled and there was no traffic on the Niš – Belgrade railway line, and even today the trains are not running.
The train departing from Niš to Zemun at 12:25 p.m., as well as the train from Belgrade Center to Niš at 1:39 p.m., will not run due to disruptions in infrastructure capacity, Srbijavoz said in a statement and thanked passengers for their understanding.
