On the night of May 5, a missile threat was declared for the first time in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the head of the region, Ruslan Kuharchuk, and local residents.
The region is located 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
In general, restrictions were introduced in the evening and night from May 4 to 5 airports in Volgograd, Izhevsk, Kazan, Nizhnyokamsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Orsk, Penza, Perm, Pskov, Samara, Saratov, Tambov, Ulyanovsk, Ufa, Cheboksary, Cherepovets, Yaroslavl.
Warnings about missile danger affected 16 more regions: Astrakhan, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kurgan, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Oryol regions, Penza, Perm region, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Sverdlovsk region, Tatarstan, Tula region, Udmurtia, Chelyabinsk region.
