Idriz Rrecaj’s son: It is unfair that his murder is linked to SHIK, we have no other culprit besides Serbia

Idriz Rrecaj from Llausha and Skenderaj is one of the three victims confirmed by the DNA analysis that was done on the remains found in the locations of the mass cemeteries in Kalludër and Jabukë of Zubin Potok in the north of the country, 27 years after the war.
Fidaim Rrecaj, the son of the LDK activist in Drenica, told KosovaLive on T7 that they have been waiting for news about his fate.
“Finally, this waiting paid off. There have been continuous excavations there, in that part of Zubin Potok, where there was suspicion. They have worked, the works have been interrupted, they have continued like that from time to time”, he said.
Fidaimi said that “a good job was done because this waiting is difficult for the family”.
Idriz Rrecaj’s son said that the family was also affected by various articles on the Internet that linked the murder of this activity to the former Kosovo Intelligence Service (SHIK).
“Baba was the central figure in Drenica. Now there are articles on Facebook that link him to things… no SHIK, no… This kind of work is unfair, because we, apart from Serbia, have never accused anyone”, he said.
“Serbia was the one who did these massacres, these mass cemeteries. We all know it”, said Fidaim Rrecaj.
Idriz Rrecaj’s son said that the family never suspected the culprit and never pointed the finger at anyone else.
“Besides Serbia, we have no other culprit, and there is none in this case and in any case of Kosovo”, he said.
