A critical food safety alert has triggered the National Food Authority. After the emergency alert from the European RASFF network, AKU calls on citizens to avoid consuming several batches of “Arla” protein pudding originating from Denmark, which is imported to Albania by the EHW company.
According to the official announcement, pieces of glass were found in this product, which poses a serious risk to the lives of consumers. Official data confirm that about 3 tons of this dangerous product entered the Albanian market.
The presence of the glass was discovered after complaints from consumers themselves in Denmark, which activated international safety mechanisms.
-If you are a user of these products, which are mainly frequented by athletes and young people, immediately stop consumption if they have the lot number (Batch) and expiration date as in this list:
– Arla Protein Pudding (Chocolate) – Batch: ES26244001 | Expiry date: 04.07.2027
-Arla Protein Pudding (Caramel) – Batch: ES26272001 | Expiry date: 26.04.2027
– Arla Protein Pudding (Caramel) – Batch: ES26287001 | Expiry date: 08.05.2027
Meanwhile, another batch of this product is being monitored, but the first verifications show that it has not entered Albania.
Authorities call for extreme caution, as the presence of glass shards in the product can cause severe internal trauma and damage to the digestive system.
Consumers should return these products to the points of purchase, while businesses have been ordered to immediately pull them from the shelves.
