Today, Thursday, April 30, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development published a statement explaining how to purchase Eid sacrifices through the “Adahi” platform dedicated to the same purpose.
The Ministry stated that after registering on the adhahi.dz website, a short text message (SMS) is sent containing the date, time and location of the purchase, so that the registrant is directed to the sales office closest to his place of residence.
She indicated that the dates are sent to those registered according to the chronological order, and according to the availability of sacrificial animals in each state and point of sale.
The registrant is also given the option to choose the sacrifice directly at the points of sale, to ensure complete transparency during the acquisition process.
After purchase, the QR Code on the Qurbani ring is scanned to link it to the buyer’s identification number.
Payment can be made in one of three ways: in cash, via bank card, or electronically, while benefiting from the discounts approved by the Ministry to encourage electronic payment.
The Ministry noted that “the sacrificial animals were carefully selected and underwent careful inspection by veterinarians.” It also affirmed “its keenness to ensure the highest levels of transparency and organization, and to embody the instructions of the President of the Republic aimed at enabling citizens to purchase sacrificial animals at reasonable prices.”
