The Tajikistan major league market for the 2026 season has finally taken shape: the total price tag of all teams has reached 20.05 million euros, the average age of the players is 25.4 years, and 81 foreign players are announced on the rosters.
The main thing is a clear division into financial levels: a powerful top, a dense middle and obvious outsiders in value.
Top 5: “Istiklol” is beyond competition, a dense group of pursuers
The absolute leader remains Istiklol from Dushanbe – 4.13 million euros. The club costs almost twice as much as its closest competitor. With a roster of 25 players and an average cost of 165 thousand euros, Istiklol remains the main financial and personnel center of the country.
Behind him there is already a much tighter fight. Second place goes to “Barkchi” from Gissar – 2.28 million euros. At the same time, the team remains one of the youngest in the league (21.5 years).

Very close are “Vakhsh” from Bokhtar (2.22 million euros) and “Regar-TadAZ” from Tursunzade (2.20 million euros). Vakhsh has one of the oldest rosters (28.3 years) and a high average cost (111 thousand euros). Regar, on the contrary, looks like a more balanced option: 2.20 million euros, an average age of 25.8 years and a stable squad structure.
The top 5 is completed by Khosilot from Farkhor with 1.70 million euros. This is a team that is already inferior in value to the top four, but remains within the top layer thanks to the depth of the squad and the number of foreign players (8 players).
Middle: Density, where the details decide
The middle segment of the championship is the most intense. Here the difference between the teams is minimal, and the competition is expected to be the toughest. “Eskhata” from Khujand is estimated at 1.65 million euros, having a balanced composition and a moderate average cost (66 thousand euros).
CSKA from Dushanbe comes next with 1.60 million euros, but stands out for its large squad (28 players) and a high proportion of foreign players (8).

Next are Istaravshan (1.35 million euros) and Khujand (1.25 million euros). It is interesting that Khujand remains one of the oldest teams (27.2 years), but at the same time is inferior in cost to even younger competitors.
This group is completed by Ravshan from Kulyab with 1.18 million euros. Despite the relatively low cost, this is a team with one of the youngest rosters (23.5 years old).
Bottom: A gap that’s hard to ignore
If the top and middle still create the appearance of an equal fight, then the bottom of the table is already a different level. “Sardor” from Tursunzade – only 275 thousand euros. With 22 players and an average cost of 13 thousand euros, the club is significantly inferior even to the middle peasants.
Even lower is Parvoz from Khujand with an indicator of 225 thousand euros. The average cost of a player here is only 9 thousand euros, which makes the team the cheapest in the league.

The main feature of the 2026 season is the enormous gap between the top and bottom. The difference between Istiklol (4.13 million euros) and Parvoz (225 thousand euros) is almost 18 times.
At the same time, an interesting trend is rejuvenation. Many clubs, especially Barkchi and Ravshan, rely on young players.
