The new Mercedes-Benz GLC caused a great impression at the preview at Öskja, which was held last night.
The car is fully electric and will immediately attract a lot of attention among the visitors of the car dealership.
The exhibition was also held in connection with the 140th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz, and special emphasis was placed on the experience and setting of the event. Stella Rósenkranz was the artistic director and presided over the impressive unveiling that marked the beginning of the evening, according to the announcement.
Among the guests at the preview was Mark Bartscherer, Mercedes-Benz sales manager for Europe and Central Asia, who came to Iceland on the occasion of the premiere.
Nice to see the veil lifted from the car
According to Jón Trausta Ólafsson, CEO of Öskja, the reception was very good. It was especially fun to see when the car was finally unveiled.
“The new GLC marks an exciting turning point for Mercedes-Benz, and it is gratifying how much interest there is in the car in Iceland,” says Jón Trausti.
The new GLC delivers a range of up to 715 km according to the WLTP standard, uses a new 800-volt charging system and comes with the new MB.OS operating system from Mercedes-Benz along with the Digital Extras app.
The premiere has been announced at 12 o’clock tomorrow, Saturday 30 May, at Öskja at Krókhálsi 11 and at Öskja in Reykjanesbær at Njarðarbraut 11.
