The doctor is said to have partially sedated women, abused them and recorded this. The police confirm investigations. Eight victims are currently known.
An internist in Graz is said to have sexually abused patients in his private practice for years and secretly filmed them naked. The doctor is said to have even sedated some of the women, sexually assaulted them in a gynecologist’s chair and recorded it. Numerous photos and videos were apparently seized on a cell phone, as the “Crown newspaper“ reported on Sunday. The Styrian police confirmed the corresponding investigations to the APA.
As a police spokesman told the APA, a request for legal assistance from abroad got the case rolling. According to the police, the investigation has been going on for a long time. No further details about the case were announced on Sunday.
According to “Kronen Zeitung”, one of the doctor’s clients is said to have noticed the cell phone, the lens of which was aimed precisely at the intimate examination area. Under some pretext, the doctor is said to have made the mostly young patients take off their clothes. According to the report, he would have carried out the treatment in a gynecologist’s chair instead of on a couch, although the necessity of these examinations would also be questionable. The women are said to have been treated outside of regular ordination hours when there was no longer a receptionist available.
Many of the photos and videos are said to have not yet been assigned. The recordings would go back to 2012. Eight victims are currently known. According to “Krone”, the suspect is no longer allowed to practice his job. During his interrogation, he defended himself by saying that his actions were medically indicated and that the filming had been agreed upon. (APA)
