Members of the public discovered a gas-powered gun while swimming at Ochheuteal Beach in Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province, raising concerns among beachgoers during the Khmer New Year holiday.
The incident occurred in the late afternoon of April 16, when a group of citizens came across the object in the water near the popular seaside area. The discovery caused alarm among visitors gathered for the holiday.
Following the discovery, the citizens handed the weapon to authorities stationed nearby to maintain order and ensure public safety during the celebrations.
