Four people got into trouble in East Greenland when their dinghy stopped.
Tuesday morning at At 05.10 the police received a report via Aasiaat Radio that a dinghy with four people on board had stopped its engine.
The dinghy with the four people was between Tasiilaq and the village of Tiniteqilaaq.
First, a PAN PAN message was attempted in relation to whether a vessel in the area could come to the rescue of the people in the dinghy, before it was decided to send the police vessel Malik off from Tasiilaq.
Chief of duty Thomas Jeppesen tells Sermitsiaq that all four people were rescued on board Malik, and on Tuesday morning they arrived safely ashore in Tasiilaq.
In addition to the SAR operation, the warden reports a case of vandalism against a private residence in Aasiaat.
The police received a report on Monday evening at 23.36, that an unknown perpetrator had destroyed some windows in the house’s bedroom by throwing some objects through the windows.
The police have a suspect in the case who is being investigated.
Loud student party
at At 00.16 the police received a report in Nuuk, where a complaint was made that a student party was held on the football pitch at Inussivik.
A patrol was sent past the festivities, where the young people were asked to turn down the music a little, which was complied with.
A little later in the night at At 02.14 the police received another report in the capital, this time from the district of Nuussuaq.
The reporting party had observed a car which was driving recklessly, and the police investigation of the vehicle subsequently showed that it was stolen.
The police made contact with the vehicle, and a man has now been charged in the case, which is still being investigated.
