It has been 24 hours since the discovery of the body of Natalia Villalba Angarita inside a suitcase in an apartment in a building in the Chicó neighborhood, in the north of Bogotá.
What is known so far is that days before the young woman, 36 years old and originally from Cúcuta, had contact with two foreign citizens. -one American and the other a Londoner- who would have shared with her in apartment 702 of the Morph building, and who are already being searched by the authorities.

Although the data of the young woman and the investigation remain under absolute confidentiality, EL TIEMPO located Villalba’s mother, who agreed to provide information about the atrocious discovery.
“We are at the Prosecutor’s Office waiting for them to tell us something about the investigation. They have not yet given us the body and we will do the recognition in the coming days,” Claudia Villalba told this newspaper.

And he added: “Natalia lived in Bogotá for 17 years, we spoke frequently, but since Thursday she hasn’t responded to me. She hasn’t received messages or calls either.”
When EL TIEMPO asked him what his daughter did, he assured: “She told me that she had a company and that she worked on it. I don’t know what exactly it was and I’m waiting to talk to one of her best friends so she can give me more information about what she did.”

Natalia’s mother told THE TIME the young woman was in apartment 702 for a few weeks because she was looking for a new apartment to move to.
“He paid it for weeks and he told me that he was going to move soon,” said the mother.

In addition, he provided information, until now unknown and that would be key to clarifying what happened in the apartment: “The computer was in his room, but the phone still hasn’t appeared.”
For investigators, finding the cell phone is key because it would allow them to establish the last messages and movements of the model and the information of the foreigners who entered apartment 702.
The young woman’s mother also told her to EL TIEMPO that his daughter did not have a partner, and that he did not know if she had foreign friends who visited Bogotá.

What he did confirm was that Villalba constantly traveled abroad. And he said that they are waiting for the body to be delivered to them and for it to be verified if their daughter had some type of insurance with which they can transport the body to Cúcuta.

And authorities told this newspaper that the foreigner who appears entering the apartment left the country three days ago.

Although initially information was leaked according to which the body of the young woman from Cucuteña would suffer a forceful blow, Judicial authorities told EL TIEMPO that they must wait for the expert opinion to establish the causes of death.
The mother of Natalia Villalba told EL TIEMPO that, as far as she knows, her daughter did not consume any type of medication.
