
Maulvi Abdul Hakim Hikmat, head of mines and petroleum of the said province, told Bakhtar News Agency that the extraction of these mines has been signed with the private sector and after extraction, the sale will be done according to free tender.
The representatives of the contracting companies said that they are trying to carry out the extraction of these precious stones on the basis of certain standards and according to them, many people will be provided with work.
The residents of the area appreciated this initiative in the field of standard mining and welcomed the efforts of the officials of the Islamic Emirate.
According to the figures of the Ghor Department of Mines, a total of 172 mines have been registered in this province, of which 11 mines have been contracted to private companies for surveying and extraction.
